Temporary nanny – B7 Month Old Baby

Warm and welcoming family looking for a caring, reliable and experienced temporary nanny to help look after their 7-month-old baby boy for a few hours on ideally on Mondays and Thursdays (however can consider another two half days), giving mum some time to rest and recharge.
They also have a 5-year-old son, who will primarily be cared for by their au pair, so the focus of this role will be on the baby.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow the baby's established nap, feeding and mealtime routines.
• Engage in age-appropriate sensory play, tummy time and activities that support his development.
• Create a safe, loving, stimulating and nurturing environment.
• Attend to everyday baby care, including nappy changes, feeding and settling for naps.
• Keep baby's play and feeding areas clean and tidy.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Warm, gentle, patient and genuinely enjoys spending time with babies.
• Experienced in caring for infants, ideally around 6–12 months of age.
• Confident following established sleep and feeding routines.
• Proactive, engaging and knowledgeable about early childhood development.
• Reliable, trustworthy and a good communicator.
• Holds a current First Aid/CPR certificate and Working With Children Check.

Hours & Availability

• Ideally Mondays and Thursdays: (preferred days but could consider another 2 half days) A few hours each day ideally (9am-1pm)
• Additional babysitting: The family would love to find someone who is also available for occasional evening and weekend babysitting, with advance notice. This is desirable but happy to consider candidates only available for the two half days.
• The family are looking for an ASAP start until the Christmas period.
