Temp Nanny Wanted.
A family is seeking a warm, reliable and adaptable nanny to support their children’s school and evening routines while a parent is in hospital.
The successful candidate will need flexibility around the start and end dates, as these will depend on hospital scheduling and bed availability.

1. Morning Routine & School Drop-off

• School Preparation: Assist children getting dressed, brushing teeth, and ensuring school bags, hats, and lunch is packed.
• Breakfast Support: Prepare a breakfast and pack healthy school lunches/snacks.
• Safe Transport: Drop children off safely at school on time.
• Light Morning Reset: Ensure breakfast dishes are placed in the dishwasher and kitchen benches are wiped down before leaving.

2. Afternoon Pickup & Transition

• School Collection: Timely pickup from school premises.
• Afternoon Tea: Prepare a healthy post-school snack.
• Guide children to unpack their bags, lunchboxes, and uniform items.

3. Afternoon Activities & Engagement

• Homework Supervision: Sit down with the children to supervise homework, reading, and spelling lists.
• Structured Play: Organise engaging, age-appropriate afternoon activities, or arts and crafts.

4. Dinner & Evening Routine

• Meal Preparation: Cook or heat up a dinner for the children.
• Hygiene Routine: Manage bath or shower time and ensure pyjamas are on.
• Child-Related Tidying: Guide children in cleaning up their toys, tidying the living spaces used, and resetting the kitchen after dinner.

5. Bedtime Routine

• Wind-Down Time: Implement a calm pre-bed routine (e.g., reading stories, quiet talk about their day).
• Lights Out: Settle children into bed by the designated curfew time.
