A lovely family in Newcastle is looking for a warm, reliable and engaging nanny to care for their 1.5-year-old daughter every Wednesday and Thursday from 8am–4pm. There may be an opportunity for the arrangement to continue into next year.

She is a happy and active little girl who enjoys playing, reading, getting outside and exploring. Her usual routine includes lunch around 11am, followed by a nap from approximately 11.45am for around two hours. The nanny will help with simple meals and snacks, provide attentive supervision throughout the day, and tidy the toys, nursery and play areas at the end of the day.

The days will include a mix of play and age-appropriate activities at home, along with getting out for walks, trips to the park or a nearby café when appropriate. The nanny will also prepare simple meals and snacks and clean up after meals. No laundry is required, aside from placing any dirty clothing in the laundry if a change of clothes is needed.

On Thursdays, her 4-year-old brother may also be home from daycare once the nanny has had a chance to settle into the role. Care will primarily be focused on the younger child, with her brother joining in as required.

The family is looking for someone punctual, communicative and dependable who will become a familiar and trusted part of their weekly routine. They value regular communication about meals, naps and how the day has gone.
