Job #28217

A lovely family is looking for a warm, reliable and engaged nanny to care for their two children, G3 and B1. G3 will attend kindy full-time next year, so most daytime care will be focused on B1, alongside kindy drop-offs and pick-ups and caring for G3 when required.
During school holidays and kindy closure days, care will be for both children.
Both children are active and social, and the family would love a nanny who enjoys creating a good balance of outings, play, learning and relaxed time at home.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing warm, attentive and safety-focused care
• Planning age-appropriate play and developmental activities
• Regular outings to parks, libraries, playgroups, classes and other activities
• Kindy drop-offs and pick-ups when required
• Managing naps, bottles, meals, nappies and daily routines
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Encouraging good behaviour, manners and independence using a calm and consistent approach
• Proactively planning the day and anticipating the children’s needs
• Children’s laundry, tidying and organisation
• Cleaning up after meals and activities and keeping the children’s areas tidy
• Providing good communication and a quick handover at the end of each day
• Career nanny is preferred

The family already has a cleaner, so general household cleaning is not expected.

Above all, they are looking for someone reliable, patient and kind who will genuinely engage with the children and become a trusted part of their routine.
Bonus: If you enjoy cooking, some family meal preparation would be a big plus, but this is not an expectation of the role.
